Preliminary consultations are free. RJ Gaudet & Associates can work on traditional litigation on behalf of a single client (i.e., not a class action) in U.S. courts at an ordinary hourly rate. In other words, the client is billed for each hour of work at a rate that is agreed to in advance. In some cases, it might be possible to work for a contingency fee or through a hybrid arrangement that includes a minimal billable rate and a contingency fee. In most cases, an up-front retainer will be required prior to the commencement of any work on behalf of a client for traditional litigation. RJ Gaudet & Associates will place the retainer in a separate IOLTA account and draw from the retainer as work is performed and the fee is earned.
